Annie Parker’s journey was very different. Losing her mother and sister to breast cancer and diagnosed herself, Annie was told repeatedly that the cancer destroying her family was not genetic, just “dumb luck.” But Annie never gave up on herself or her family.

Join us on Wednesday, June 12th at 6pm for a cocktail reception featuring hors d’oeuvres by Sweet Lorraine’s, followed by a screening of the film with very special guests Annie Parker herself and Director Steven Bernstein.

Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, ensures that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. This benefit screening helps to sustain the 120 programs each month that support the courageous metro Detroit cancer community.
