I need your help to raise funds & awareness for my event!
EXPOSURE is a benefit event that not only provides a much-needed avenue for pro and amateur female skateboarders to excel but this year has partnered with The Community Resource Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3),that raises money for victims of domestic violence.
We encourage girls as young as 5 and as old as 45 to participate in our learn-to-skate clinics, competition and wellness carnival.
EXPOSURE was the only all-female competition in 2012 & it hosted a historic event: the first woman to ever land a 540 McTwist in competition by 12-year-old Alana Smith. (see video below)
EXPOSURE 2013 will fall on Nov. 2nd in San Diego this year.
Here is a link to the website featuring last year’s event along with some recap videos:
And here’s the website for the documentary, my partner, pro skateboarder Amelia Brodka, directed that highlights the challenges females face within the skate industry:
This year we are hoping to sell more booth space and raise more money & awareness for victims of domestic violence.
