4 Gorgeous Ways To Wear Lace Accessories

It is with great pride that I bring you my second collection for OpenSky: The Look Of Lace! The collection centers around lace and lace-effect accessories, and, duh, I love it. Here’s how I’d style each piece:

1. Jenni Kayne Long Sleeve Panel Dress, $415, Shopbop.com, 2. Handmade Lace Bib Necklace By Classy With A Kick, $30, Opensky.com, 3. Full Tilt Women’s Varsity Jacket, $30, Tilly’s 4. Alexander Wang Croc Giant Eyeglass Case Clutch, $425, Barneys.com, 5. Belle Sigerson Morrison Lamar Boot, $325, Farfetch.com, 6. Burkman Bros Summer Camp Friendship Bracelets, $30 for a set of 6, Ylang23.com

I love the look of this neon lace bib necklace with an emerald green dress by one of my favorite designers, Jenni Kayne. I’d add in tough girl essentials like low heel booties, an Alexander Wang clutch, and a varsity jacket for an extra dose of cool.

1. Asos Throw On Blazer in Chevron Print, $43, and Track Pants in Chevron, $28, Asos.com, 2. Prada Runway Cat Eye Sunglasses, $365, Bloomingdales.com, 3. Ilia Lipstick in Wild Child, $24, Iliabeauty.com, 4. Translucent Lace Cuff by Adia Kibur, $38, Opensky.com 5. Yves Saint Laurent Black And Gold Pointed Heel Wedge, $729, Bluefly.com, 6. Union Jack Metal Mesh Clutch, $49, Lorisshoes.com

A cuff this graphic calls for an equally bold outfit. I’d wear this with an all-over print in tame colors, and black mullet heels (business in the front, party in the back!). Red accents and a cheeky clutch lighten the look and add a sense of humor.

1. 1. Jill Stuart Bonnie Slit Back Dress, $528, Shopbop.com, 2. BCBG Stone Headband, $28, BCBG.com, 3. 3. OpenSky Glamour Exclusive Lace Case for iPhone 4/4S iPhone Case by LuxMobile Group, $19, OpenSky.com, 4. Forever 21 Faux Croco Shoulder Bag, $25, Forever21.com5. Le Metier De Beauty Nail Lacquer in Red Hot Tango, $18, NeimanMarcus.com6.Gianvito Rossi Calfskin Pointy Pumps, $564, LuisaViaRoma.com

I’ve been using this case for my phone for weeks, and I get so many compliments on it. In an ideal world, I’d wear moody floral dresses from Jill Stuart (I’m hardcore in love with this dress), and fun hair accessories from BCBG, and just generally look too cool for school. I was tempted to throw a crazy backpack into the mix, which is how I’d wear this outfit in real life, but I love this clutch too much to not include it.

1.Equipment Romper, $167, Bloomingdales.com, 2. Bandana, $2, FrontierGeneralStore.com, 3. Gap Classic Dark Denim Jacket, $35, Gap.com, 4. Sammy Ethiopia Hiwat Flap Clutch, $165, LesNouvelles.com, 5. Clear Jelly Lace Ballet Flats by Charles Albert, $30, OpenSky.com

These little jelly flats are beyond cool. The lace effect is so subtle, you can’t really see it until you slip these bad boys on, but they’re kind of like high-tech waterproof lace slippers. I love the thought of these with a fun printed romper and jean jacket, especially with this too-great-for-words bandana.

Which of these pieces is your favorite? Are you into the idea of lace accessories?
