This free summer concert series draws hundreds of people to the center of downtown Farmington every Friday night during the summer. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the music. Rain location is First United Methodist Church, across the street from the park.

June 29 – The Paisley Fogg

Start with three brothers — David, Keith and Tom — on the front line, add the solid rhythm section of Tommy A on drums and Ronny G on bass, toss in a little “Janis and Grace” from Dawn and what you get is Paisley Fogg and a trip back to the 60s

July 6 – The HandGrenades

The HandGrenades cite The British Invasion as a primary influence, and their prominent two and three-part harmonies are reminiscent of early Motown. This group’s high-energy live shows include offering the audience a chance to play instruments on stage.

July 13 – Hullabaloo

This Michigan-based band performs original music and cover songs in electric live performances. Their blend of ska-funk-jazz mixed with high energy and a unique blend of horns will have you dancing in your seat.

July 27 – Billy Mack & The Juke Joint Johnnies

Billy and JJJ’s will keep the dance floor packed with boppers, rockers, two-steppers and swing-dancers alike. The infectious energy Billy Mack and his Juke Joint Johnnies gets everyone involved in the fun.

August 3 – Paul Dozier Quartet

Talented singer, songwriter, producer and musician, Paul Dozier plays guitar, bass, drums and saxophone. The quartet has been performing for 11 years throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean.

August 10 – Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys

This group focuses on the original tunes of Lindsay Lou Rilko, which include true-life tales of bank robbing aunties, moonshinin’ grandpas and celebration of love, life and nature.

August 17 – Gasoline Gypsy

A 3-piece band based out of Port Huron, Gasoline Gypsy plays a mix of everything from country-blugrass to good old fashioned rock & roll with some folk and blues thrown in for good measure.

August 24 – The Kreellers

This spirited Celtic Rock band is back with a high-energy performance that features rugged versions of Irish classics along with Kreellers originals. They’re a Rhythmz favorite, back to close the 2012 season.

Friday, June 29 in

Shelby Township, MI

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI (June 2012)

some hard driving rock rhythms from Ted Nugent, KISS, AC/DC , ZZ Top and Led

Zeppelin,” said Stokely, a licensed Zumba instructor and Zumba Jammer®, a

choreography specialist appointed by Zumba Fitness.

“We call special event Zumba

classes ‘master classes’ but you don’t have to be an expert to attend.

All are welcome to rock out with us and burn some calories too,” Stokely

added. Local Zumba instructor Nancy “G” Graybill of Ken Jackson’s

Fitness Factory will also present.
