I hadn’t, until a few months ago. My mom was telling me about this new type of pedometer that her co-worker got, called a Fitbit. It tracked your steps, miles, and calories, much like a regular pedometer. It also tracked your sleep, gave you goals and achievements and allows you to track everything related to nutrition and fitness on their website with your own account. Looking over their website, I couldn’t wait to get one. My parents got me one for an early birthday present and I love it so far! Here are some pictures of my Fitbit Dashboard:
I love tracking my sleep – all you do is put your Fitbit in the wristband it comes with. It tells you how long you actually sleep, versus how long you think you sleep.
I also like tracking my steps. It has made me realize that I need to move MORE! See that pink spike on the active tracker? That is when I took a run. I’ve been going out of my way to try to walk more and realizing how much I sit and trying to change that. I suppose you can’t work at a desk while walking around, but I could take more breaks.
What do you think of it? Would you buy one for $99?
