Rochester College Presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Rochester College’s theatre department proudly presents a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Modern, energetic, and abridged, Rochester College’s production of this Shakespearean comedy features a young couple realizing the hardships of true love. Confronted by many obstacles, forces beyond their control conspire to bring ruin to their fairytale ending. See how everything resolves itself in this innovative approach that incorporates original music while staying true to Shakespeare’s classic text.

Performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. All productions take place in the Rochester College Theatre at 800 West Avon Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Tickets for Thursday’s special preview performance are $5, while the Friday and Saturday productions are $10 for students, seniors, RC alumni, faculty, and staff, and $12 for adults. The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be presenting Celebrating the Earth on Saturday, April 14 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at museum. Guests will learn about the five basic needs people and other living things need to survive and how our Earth satisfies them.
