The ever so popular, Bunnyville, is at the Detroit Zoo today. This annual celebration gives children the opportunity to sit with the Easter Bunny, enjoy treats and crafts, games and prizes, Two of a Kind will perform, plus a live mini-musical of “The Bunny Follies.”
The zoo encourages everyone to bring a canned food donation for Gleaners.

Apple Blossom Gala of Runs

Get ready for the Apple Blossom Gala of Runs, Saturday, April 7, kicking off at Glacier Club Golf Course, and running along the Macomb Orchard Trail.
Several races are planned, including a half-mile fun run, as well as a 3K and a 9K.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the golf course.
The 9K begins at 9:30 a.m. The 3K starts at 9:40 a.m. The half-mile race begins at 10:30 a.m. Cost to register for the 3K or 9K is $25 by March 30, or $30 on race day. For the fun run, cost is $20 by March 30, or $25 the day of the race.
Everyone who participates gets bus service from the Glacier Club to the starting point, with the last bus leaving at 9 .m.; plus a race T-shirt and lunch awards ceremony at the golf course. Awards will be handed out to the top three finishers in male, female and age group divisions.
To register, download the entry form that goes with this event listing, fill out and mail to the Macomb County Road Commission. The race benefits the Macomb Orchard Trail Commission.
