Celebrate Your Strength: Eat Fat and Have More Energy!

coconut-oilYou are probably asking how eating fat gives you more energy?  Many people think eating fat will make them feel heavy and lethargic and of course gain weight right?  Well in fact it depends on what types of fat you are eating.  The type of fat you want to eat if you want more energy is coconut oil.

Coconut oil has what are called medium chain fatty acids that promote thermogenesis, which in turn increases metabolism and thus creates energy!!  Not only that, coconut oil adds satiety to meals and reduces appetite by giving a feeling of fullness, which of course helps those wanting to lose weight!

Those who eat low fat typically eat more carbs and are hungry all the time, which leads to overeating.  They often get tired from the ups and downs of their blood sugar and don’t have a lot of energy.  If you want more energy be sure to get healthy fats in your diet regularly such as coconut oil.
