Who’s Who!

Kim-Boudreau-SmithKim Boudreau-Smith, CEO of The i-Academy

Three years ago I was sitting at a red light at a very busy intersection and suddenly realized I was sleeping! Undeniably alarmed, I made a conscious decision to re-light my fire right then, right there. My drive and determination led me to obtain a certification from the International Coaching Academy. I have spent this past year passionately developing and growing my business. Today I successfully pave the way and inspire others to self discover, self promote and ignite their internal fire! “Be yourself, everyone else is taken!” O.W.

shannon-lazovskiShannon Lazovski, Owner of online fashion & beauty magazine Glamorous Moms, online fashion blog; Detroit Fashion News & Glamorous Moms LLC.

I blog for the Detroit News Mich Moms blog and am the founder of Detroit Mom Bloggers connecting Mom bloggers with brands through social media campaigns and ambassador programs. I am a freelance writer, fashion/beauty/mom blogger, product & service reviewer, an image consultant and a makeup artist wrapped up into one little beauty obsessed package using what I know to help others shine.

In 2006, I developed my business plan and strategy to exit corporate America to start my own landscape & garden business. For two years I juggled my corporate responsibilities while growing my business…and what a ball I had! At that time I received my Master Gardener certificate from MSU and became a Certified Landscape Designer. In 2008, I replaced my corporate high heels with Wellies and never looked back! Today, I am living my dream and truly blessed to have the opportunity to mix work with pleasure!

I have been practicing financial planning for 25 years. The picture I like to paint of financial planning is that it is analogous to taking a trip. What is the first thing a person plans when she takes a trip? She decides where she is going, then packs accordingly. I help my clients determine their destination, pack and make their roadmap for life’s journey so they arrive where they planned on going.
