We invite kids of all ages to take a break from their normal summer activities to meet and greet Santa on his summer vacation at Yellow Door Art Market on July 16.
Award-winning author & bonified Santa Claus, Jeffrey Schatzer of Bellaire, Michigan will be donning his Hawaiian shirt, flip flops and long white beard as he signs copies of his Christmas themed books starring him. One of his popular titles, The Bird in Santa’s Beard is about a warm friendship that grows through the cold winter and on Christmas morning, Santa himself receives one of the most wonderful gifts of all.  Schatzer will be joining us Saturday, July 16 from 11-2pm.
Another present you’ll find under our tree is Tucker, a beautiful Bernese Mountain dog is who is a character in the book, The Enchanted Tree of Crooked Lane by author, Rachel Longhurst of Milford, Michigan. “This story is truly a modern day fairy tale about a special love shared by two extraordinary people and it allows the reader to go places where their imagination can play” states Longhurst. Tucker and Longhurst will be joining us on Saturday, July 16 from 2:30-4:30pm.
And of course we’ll be serving up cool Christmas themed treats, and giving away delightful handmade ornaments from a variety of Yellow Door artists with all purchases over $30 (one per family).
So if you need to take a break from the heat this steamy summer, stop on by for a truly cool Christmas afternoon at Yellow Door Art Market on Saturday, July 16.
