Glamour Girl Day at the Funky Frog

  • The Funky Frog is having a day that is dedicated to your little girl! Studio One Salon will be adding glittery strands (two per girl) to their hair and Pretty Nail Party will be adding polish to their nails. While you are at the Funky Frog, don’t forget to take a look at their upscale resale clothing for your little princess.

Clay, Glass, and Metal Festival

  • Where: Washington Ave. & Fifth St, Royal Oak, MI

  • Downtown Royal Oak comes alive again with the Clay, Glass and Metal Festival today.  There will be shopping galore with over 125 artists displaying their works.  Favorite restaurants will have food available on the streets.  Live music/bands will play all day and night. Kids can check out the Creative Arts Studio tent where they will be able to express themselves.

    Note: Artists tents will be open to 7 p.m. today while food and music will go on until 11 p.m.

The Garden Party

  • The Garden Party Foundation will celebrate its third annual event, The Garden Party, on Sunday, June 12, 2011, 1 to 4 PM, at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Garden Party will feature fare from more than 30 of Michigan’s best restaurants. The exquisite cuisine offered during the affair will also be paired with 100 of the finest wines, live entertainment and classic cars.
