Stop and think about it: what would your perfect day include?

Today we give you permission to have your perfect day! If you have other obligations today, schedule this for a day on the weekend or a day that you’re totally free. Now grab a pen and paper and start writing. Your day can be anything you want it to be! Want to sleep all day and stay in bed to watch TV and snuggle with your significant other? DO IT! Want to go to lunch with girlfriends and shop till you drop? DO IT! Want to go to the movies and head to a fun bar afterwards? DO IT! You have 24 hours to do whatever your heart desires.

Give yourself permission and send any guilt packing. Sometimes we think we shouldn’t have a day to ourselves because of all of our obligations, busy days, and stress. Forget about it! Get your kids a babysitter if your perfect day plans don’t include taking the kids somewhere. Enlist your loved ones to join you on this day or do everything alone. This is YOUR day and no one else’s! If you want to drop everything and get pampered, then go for it. Everyone needs a day off every once in a while to spend some time and money on themselves and don’t listen to anyone who says you don’t deserve it.
