Celebrate Earth Day at the Detroit Zoo!

Come to the Detroit Zoo today to celebrate Earth Day! Â There will be a scavenger hunt throughout the zoo, craft projects for kids, a rock climbing wall, games and entertainment. Â Many of the activities are earth-friendly.
The Earth Day celebration is included in your regular paid admission.
Price: regular admission: adults $12, seniors $10, children 2 — 14 years old $8

Would you like to help clean up Stony Creek Metropark for Earth Day? Registration is from 8-9 a.m. at Eastwood Beach and clean up is from 9 -11:30 a.m. Complimentary lunch for volunteers, plus a drawing for prizes. Plus, free park entrance for the day.

Volunteers are invited to enjoy the outdoors while helping the Metroparks stay beautiful and better serve the public.Â Many opportunities are available for groups and individuals. Duties will be assigned according to age and ability. Those who provide help will enjoy a light lunch afterwards.
Help is needed at Wolcott Mill Farm Center and Historic Center.
