Tip #13

I hope my tips inspire you to love yourself and others, to wake up with a smile and a skip in your step and to live everyday with an abundance of peace, joy and ease.

Happiness and joy are the most admired and coveted emotions. Today we are going to help you learn to let joy into your life and we have quotes to help you on your way to a more joyous and happy life. Embrace it!

While money may give you choice, it will always be the intangible that makes you the happiest. True joy comes from the people in your life, the memories you make together, the laughter you share. The garden you tend, the sunset that wows you, the sound of the ocean, the song of the birds, the ability to be with yourself and feel right at home.

Be here now and make everyday a masterpiece.

Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
-Mary Oliver

Millions of people who otherwise would be completely lost in their mind and in endless concerns are taken back by their dog or cat into the present moment again and again and reminded of the joy of being. —Eckhart Tolle

Today: Every day ask yourself, how can I maximize my joy? How can I live more fully on this earth? How can I enrich everyone I meet?  Maybe it is time to call that friend you have lost touch with or take the class that you have always wanted to take or take the dance lessons or the trip to Italy. Or maybe it is enough to notice, really notice, the color of the sky, the smell of the flowers, the sweet faces of the people that you love and to follow the advice from Lee Ann Womack’s song, “And when you get the chance to sit or dance, I hope you dance, I hope you dance”.

  1. Lovely, Brenda; I only wish I could take these thoughts into my life and really incorporate them. At the moment, I want to embrace this celebration of life, but I know I am driven by obligatory things to a fault.
