The Power of Saying YES to Your Life!

be-yourself-poster-quoteAs I look out over the bay and take a breath full of salty, fresh air, I feel gratitude to be alive. With a world in constant movement it can be easy to check out of reality and check into mental chaos. If I allow myself to check out entirely I can watch my mind go into a place of fear, uncertainty, shame, embarrassment, and guilt. I want to say NO to the outer world. This is mental chaos that can take over and control every move in my entire life.

As humans we have the ability to say YES to the present moment and take a risk to embrace the infinite possibilities life has to offer, or to say NO to opportunities, dreams, passions and the present moment. This is not a new age concept, but in fact a reality check point for your life. This is life or death. Many people live their entire lives without really living for one moment. Living a life set in fear is living a long death. This is your life! Catch the moment and embrace every bit of it.

There is no time to hide your self, life is simply too short to wear emotional armor. What are the passions you have that light you up? Saying YES is not always in our comfort zone, but is in our hearts. There are a few phrases that I have picked up along the way that fit here:

“Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

“You have to be willing to show up and suck before you can show up and shine.”

“Leap and the net will appear.”

What is stopping any of us from living to our fullest potential in every single moment? We know that it doesn’t last forever. What an amazing ride we have been blessed to be on with infinite opportunities and fun! Take the bull by the horns and live free of walls, fears, barricades, and masks. It is a choice that we have to make, or not, about our intention for this life. You live it once and you live it NOW.
