Thanksgiving – what a great tradition. We are able to sit with family and truly be grateful for our blessings. It is easy in our busy lifestyle to forget how absolutely blessed we are. But when you consider how people live in other countries (or even in certain parts of ours), it becomes easier to see how good we really have it.
We are fortunate to have a bed to sleep in at night and a roof to sleep under. We are blessed to be able have access to fresh food that nourishes us. We are special enough to have people around us who care about us and love us just the way we are. This month, may we count more blessings than we usually do. May we learn to give thanks each day, just as we do on thanksgiving.
