This healthy, fresh pasta dish (a meal in itself) retails for $5.98 per pound and is available in all Hiller’s prepared foods departments.
Hiller’s Good Deeds in the Making program was created last year as a way to inspire consumers to purchase high-quality, ready-to-eat, great-tasting meals while helping good causes in their communities. This month’s charity, the Detroit nonprofit group Focus: HOPE, is dedicated to providing community aid for issues of hunger, economic disparity, inadequate education, and racial divisiveness. Since Focus: HOPE was founded in 1968, the organization has helped provide over 10 million meals to struggling individuals and has assisted thousands of men and women in establishing stable careers through career training programs. Further, the organization’s HOPE Village Initiative program supports academic achievement for children of the Detroit area.
“The co-founder of Focus: HOPE, Father William T. Cunningham, was a close, personal friend and he was a man whom I greatly admired,” Jim Hiller, CEO of Hiller’s Markets, said. “I believe his work remains undone and Hiller’s is proud to support Focus: HOPE!” Founded in 1941, Hiller’s Markets has established a stellar reputation and earned a loyal customer following based on extraordinary quality, exceptional selection, extreme value and exemplary customer service. Hiller’s proudly showcases Michigan products with special shelf tags and partners with charities and organizations through cash register campaigns, Scrip partnerships and many other collaborative community campaigns.
