Take A Stand In The Sand” We Are In For Sure! Are You?

Many of us stand idle wanting to do something about the horrible situation in the gulf. We’ve been inundated with so much heartache from videos and pictures of oil smothered birds, dying baby dolphins and sea turtles to the fisherman and their families struggling desperately to make their bills. Officials are shaking their heads in frustration, not knowing which way to turn first.

Here is something we can do: Join thousands across the USA as we “Draw a line in the sand,” against offshore oil drilling. We will join hands on the beach in a ceremonious pledge to end our addiction to oil. Be part of this national day of action, sending a plea to President Obama to take America passed our archaic need for oil and lead us into the future of clean fuel.

“Take a stand in the sand.” Help America’s animals and families. Be part of this national day of action as hundreds of events with thousands of people take place all across the country.

  1. The oil spill is nothing to laugh at but I just saw a kid wearing a t-shirt that cracked me up. BP – We’re bring oil to America’s shores. I died laughing because BP’s billion dollar image change to their new sunflower logo is forever going to be associated with the worst environmental disaster to strike America. Check out the shirt here – http://bit.ly/bJAuTb
