In a nutshell, the CrossFit philosophy is an intense, fun workout plan that combines weight training and cardiovascular endurance for the most effective workout I’ve ever tried! The beauty of this program is that everyone can do it, no matter your age or current fitness level. The other really fantastic part about these workouts is each and every WOD (“workout of the day”) is one-of-a-kind! I can promise you that you will never be bored, you will never do the same exact workout twice AND you will always be challenged! This program WILL make a positive impact on your body!
I also offer children’s fitness programs! Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump, effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play sports.
The CrossFit Kids program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. Our program works well with obese children in helping them learn proper nutrition as well as having fun while working out. We also have a specialized program for elite athletes in improving speed, agility, strength, hand-eye coordination and neuromuscular control.
“We love CrossFit Bloomfield! My husband and I have been members of gyms and have tried videos, but CrossFit is honestly the only workout we can both enjoy together. I can’t remember the last time I worked out and had fun! And, Jordan is the best trainer we could ask for. He is very good at tailoring workouts to capitalize on a person’s strengths while still making the workouts challenging. Jordan cares about his clients and so you leave happy and eagerly look forward to the next workout,” Team Rez, Redford”
This program WILL make a positive impact on your body and mind!

Fitness Tip of the Month
Every month, I want to share with you at least one fitness tip to make working out more effective and more enjoyable for you. This month, I want to focus on the importance of squats. This is the first of the foundational movements we cover at my facility. Your ability to squat tells us a great deal about your athletic capacity.
Here is what CrossFit founder, Greg Glassman, has to say about the squat:
“On the athletic front, the squat is the quintessential hip extension exercise, and hip extension is the foundation of all good human movement. Powerful, controlled hip extension is necessary and nearly sufficient for elite athleticism: ‘Necessary’ in that without powerful, controlled hip extension you are not functioning anywhere near your potential, ‘Sufficient’ in the sense that everyone we’ve met with the capacity to explosively open the hip could also run, jump, throw, and punch with impressive force.”-Greg Glassman (CrossFit Journal #4 [Dec.2002])
