Understanding the pH Factor can be that missing link to your finally losing fat! Proper knowledge of your body’s pH balance is power; it’s the power to control the circumstances that make you gain or lose fat. Crucial to Effective Weight Management pH stands for potential hydrogen. It indicates when something is acid (when the pH is lower than 7) or when something is alkaline (when it is higher than 7). The pH of your blood must at all times be between 7.3 and 7.4. To protect this blood pH, the body stores excess acid in fat cells. In the acidic person, the body cannot afford to burn fat because it would release this stored acid into the system, thereby putting blood pH out of balance.
Test Your Body’s Acidity or Alkalinity with pH Strips
It is recommended that you test your pH levels to determine if your body’s pH needs immediate attention. By using pH test strips, you can determine your pH factor quickly and easily in the privacy of your own home. If your urinary pH fluctuates between 6.0 to 6.5 in the morning and between 6.5 and 7.0 in the evening, your body is functioning within a healthy range. If your saliva stays between 6.5 and 7.5 all day, your body is functioning within a healthy range. The best time to test your pH is about one hour before a meal and two hours after a meal. Test your pH two days a week.
Balance Your Food

Water is Essential
Drinking appropriate amounts of water is essential to body balance, weight loss and being healthy. Drinking alkaline water in liberal amounts helps neutralize stored acid wastes and cleanse the body. Exercise is Fundamental
Consistent exercise helps to burn fat and build lean muscle mass. Regular exercise helps the body eliminate toxins. Ongoing exercise is critical to long-term weight management, overall health and vitality.

The best form of enzymes comes from fresh fruits and vegetables. However, if you prefer a supplement form, you can take 1-2 capsules of enzymes with every meal. Also take 1-2 capsules between meals on an empty stomach. Take the PH enzymes before going to bed at night.
Tips to Remember
Don’t be in a hurry to lose weight. You should lose between one half and two pounds a week if you want to keep it off. Even a good cleansing program with colonics will only allow you to lose at this pace in the overall picture. Eat a good nutritious breakfast and lunch. Dinner will also be nutritious, but lighter so it is easier to digest. Don’t miss meals. This will work against any weight loss goals. No bread, pasta or rice with meat.
Try not to drink with meals, drink 15 minutes before or 1 hour after. If you feel you need to, drink no more than 8 ounces with meal. If this is a big change of eating habits for you, use butter, dressing or sauces when desired; just no chemicals or preservatives. There are many natural ones to choose from. Making your own favorites is even better.
- No white sugar or flour.
- No fried foods.
- Limit milk products.
- Stay away from canned, frozen, processed and refined foods.
- No fast food or junk food.
- Do not overeat, this slows down digestion. Don’t wait to feel “full”.
- Do not eat after 7 pm.
- Always masticate your food well — this is the first stage of digestion. If food isn’t digested properly from the start, you won’t be able to assimilate the nutrients.
- Broths and juices are good substitutes to take during the day when you crave food between meals.
