Yes, you can help end Canada’s annual war on seals by boycotting a product that is vital to the country’s economy: maple syrup! Learn more about the slaughter by clicking on the link below and pledge to boycott Canadian maple syrup until Canada stops killing seals.
BACK TO ANIMAL JOY
Baby seals are precious. Boycott Canadian products to help put an end to their slaughtering!
Almost 300,000 baby seals are killed every year. For what reason does this barbaric act take place? For their fur! Many are clubbed to death and skinned while still alive! And they are just 2 weeks old; right when their white fur that they are born with has changed to silver.
The fashion houses that profit from baby seals torture and their pelts are: Prada, Dolce and Gabbana and Birger Christensen.
I don’t need to tell you that a little baby seal can’t run and it can’t hide. But I can give you tools if you’re interested in helping these beautiful creatures with the ever-soulful eyes.
Boycott, boycott, boycott!
Don’t buy from the designers listed above. Don’t buy Canadian Maple Syrup that comes in the maple leaf shaped bottle or any others from Canada. Do not go to Red Lobster. They sell almost exclusively Canadian seafood. When you go out to eat, before you order your seafood or fish dish, please ask the server if the product is from Canada, and if it is, please ask for something else. Restaurants are beginning to respond to this.
In addition, here is a list of companies that profit from selling Canadian seafood. Please do not buy from these companies: Acadian, Brunswick, Century Seafoods, Fisherman’s Finest, Ocean Choice, Seafreez, Sea Fresh, St. Pauls and World Catch.
Lastly, go online to PETA or HSUS or Care2 or all of these and sign their petitions to urge Canadian Senators to pass a law that has been introduced to stop all commercial seal hunts in Canada. The petitions are right there! Just sign.
It doesn’t cost anything but it could save a furry little life!
