Even 10-15 minutes of walking, swimming, biking, hula hooping, or even dancing may be just what you need to get through a rough spot in your day. Research shows that at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week can significantly make a difference and may even help alleviate anxiety as much as medications, and the anti-anxiety effects of exercise may last longer than those of drugs!
